Human Resource Officer

The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the HR department. The incumbent will play a crucial role in the execution of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The Human Resource Officer is expected to ensure the consistent and smooth operation of HR processes while maintaining high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate logistics for interviews and assessments.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the completion of required paperwork and orientation sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents, including offer letters, contracts, and policy updates.
• Coordinate training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication.
• Assist in tracking employee training and development activities.
• Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations by staying informed about updates and changes.
• Support in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, etc.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR roles or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of HR data analytics is an added advantage.
